Science awareness workshop and poster presentation in collaboration with Bali Dhanomoni Model High School and Anuranan
Some 50 students of class 9 and 10 from three different schools of Bali island, Sunderban participated in the programme. They had the first on hand experience of chemical experiments in the workshop.
These students of a remote place in West Bengal where their schools always run short of infrastructure and manpower had an exposure to very new and enriching kind of academic engagement in poster presentation competition.
Students of Sundarban Asit Baran High School grabbed the first prize in the class 9 segment of the competition, while Bali Dhanamani Model High School became champion of the class 10 segment.
The champion teams received trophies and gold medals. The winners of the second positions in both the segments received silver medals. Each participant student got a participation certificate.
