Ayash An Effort is a public charitable trust based out of Kolkata and engaged in various social outreach projects in rural West Bengal.
The activities of the trust is mainly focused in the area of education of underprivileged children. The trust currently runs three projects:
Shiksayash – providing financial support for education to students from economically distressed families
Pathayash – running free support study centres for first generation school goers and/or underprivileged children.
Granthayash – running and providing support for setting up small libraries in other similar organisations.

Ayash an Effort is registered as a Public Charitable Trust (Registration No 1054/14, A.R.A. III). All donations to Ayash An Effort is eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of Income Tax Act.

In addition to these regular projects, various awareness programmes and workshops are organised for children to provide them a holistic exposure of learning and overall wellbeing outside their curriculum. Occasionally collaborative initiatives with other organisations are also taken up.
